Full Tilt Poker’s Chris Ferguson Known As The Poker Jesus
Chris “Jesus” Ferguson got his holy pet name due to his long, brown hair and beard, said to remind you of the famous fisherman from Galilee, even though Christ was never known to eternally sport a jet black Full Tilt Stetson. And nonetheless he’s never been recognized to walk on water; Ferguson has been known to carry out miracles sitting at a poker table.
His first WSOP bracelet was in 2000 in the Full Tilt Poker Download $2.5K Seven-Card Stud event and that same year he brought down the Main Event for $1.5 million. Another WSOP bracelet came after in 2001 in the $1,500 Omaha Hi/Lo Split event. In 2003, he collected two more in the $2K Omaha Hi/Lo Split event, followed by the $2K Limit Hold ‘em & Seven-Card Stud event.
