Thanks for the responses, everyone. Glad this post resonated with some of you. Connie is doing marvelously after her first week of school, and is excited every morning to go back. Our twin boys started preschool this week, so there has been a lot of change in the Raging House!

I just started my sophmore year of high school. My parents are always saying stuff like, “I can’t belive your finally (fill in the blank)” and “you’re growing up so fast!” I roll my eyes and shrug it off, but…I think I’m growing up fast too.

I can only imagine. One – because my oldest is four and not going off to school yet. Two – because I only have boys. I imagine that being the father of a girl is a whole different ball game.

What a lovely blog and a lovely post about your daughter Connie. Your post is so spot on. Nearly made me cry – but I’m not that soft surely. I think children soften you up though – don’t you think… You are more emotional that’s for sure.

Damn, dude, you’re killing me here. I am just about 45 minutes from dropping off my firstborn child at her first day of high school, while my baby is going into the fourth grade.
It really, really does go that fast.

I just put mine on the bus to start 3rd grade. I remember when she first started, and it seems so long ago.

Just try to squeeze as much out of every moment.
